Dimensions & Guidelines
The conference will provide surfaces or mounting posters and tacks for affixing them. All mounting surfaces will be 4 feet wide by 6 feet high, with a 1.5″ border on all sides. Presenters can bring posters of any size that can fit on this surface, though they should be mindful that the audience may not be able to read materials easily if their posters are placed too close to the very top or bottom of the mounting board. Presenters should arrive early to affix their posters before the sessions begin. Presenters should stay near their posters throughout the sessions to talk with attendees about their projects.
There are many resources available to guide the creation of an effective poster. The Polmeth Repository has some examples of posters from previous conferences. General advice on how to create a good poster presentation and additional templates are available here and here.
